DEATH RETURNS FOR A MEETING WITH DEAN — Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Bobby (Jim Beaver) anxiously wait for Sam (Jared Padalecki) to wake up to see if Death (guest star Julian Richings) was able to restore his soul without causing Sam to lose his mind. Meanwhile, Dean and Bobby investigate a disappearance of virgins and discover dragons are behind the kidnappings. Bobby sends Dean to a doctor who owns the only weapon in the world that can slay a dragon, but Dean must prove himself worthy enough to take it. Phil Sgriccia directed the episode written by Adam Glass (##612).

Hab ich ja schon geschrieben, wie immer, nach ner Pause wird mal NICHT auf das eigentliche Problem eingegangen und wir kriegen ne Fillerfolge. Dean fragt Sam zwar, woran er sich als letztes erinnert. Ich nehm an, max. daran, dass er in die Grube gehüpft ist, wenn überhaupt und damit wird's dann auch gut sein. Die Probleme kommen dann wahrscheinlich Step by Step. Danke fürs finden und posten!

Did you know Supernatural is the best show of 2010? You did? OK, how about some scoop from the first episode of 2011? Hide yo' virgins! A dragon (we're talking a dragon with ginormous wings) is breaking into people's houses and snatching up local girls wearing purity rings. For those who are interested in the cool monster factor of demon-hunting, this will be the episode for you. If you just want to see Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) working together and everything returning to sunshine and puppy dogs…maybe not the episode for you.

'Supernatural' preview: Souled up Sam, suits, and virgins in a cage

"Supernatural" returns Jan. 28 at 9 p.m., and we've got your first look at souled-up Sam. (We think having a soul makes his hair shinier. Thoughts?) In the episode, "Like a Virgin," Sam and Dean get back to work saving people and hunting things and all that jazz... and once again, they're doing it while wearing suits.

Whatever. We're shallow and we're not sorry about it.

In the episode, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate attacks on girls who wear purity rings to symbolize their promise to remain virgins. Of course, Dean finds virgins to be a bizarre and rare phenomenon themselves. It looks like the women in question don't fare too well - the images show two girls trapped in a cage. Let's hope the Winchesters get to them in time.

Aside from men in suits and women in cages, the photos give us a little hope that things may be returning to normal -- or at least, to the Winchesters' idea of normal. Sam and Dean are pictured sharing a beer at Bobby's (and possibly getting a lecture from him), and poring over research in a motel decorated by a hideous mountain mural and a John Winchester-style wall of weird.
