Quinn: I'm dying for some True Blood scoop!
The fangtastic HBO hit is looking to add a few new vampires to the mix in season five. True Blood is currently casting the Authority council members so we're thinking these vamps mean business. Kibwe is gentleman vampire who believes in vampire rehab, while Rosalyn is a Texas fanger with a whole lot of hair. But the most intriguing council member? A 9-year-old vampire named Alexander who loves cigarettes and annoying the rest of the council. Smoking aside, we're stoked for Alexander's debut!

Yas: Any True Blood info not related to werewolves? I'm a fang-banger for life!
Prepare for a flashback to the 1950s. The city: San Francisco. Now who could possibly have business in San Fran during the '50s?
True Blood | Remember Alcide’s crazy ex, Debbie Pelt? Well she’s about to be crazy with family. The HBO drama is in the process of casting the not-so-dearly departed’s mom and dad, Barbara and Gordon, who will hit Bon Temps loaded with questions bout their “missing” little girl. Though both ‘rents are described as “kindly,” Gordon will be riled up and grow defensive soon enough when Alcide speaks ill of the dead. Er, of the “missing.” tvline.com
Ben: Any True Blood scoop?
Watch out, Alcide (Joe Manganiello)! Debbie Pelt's (Brit Morgan) mom and dad are coming for answers about the whereabouts of their daughter, and they don't appreciate anyone speaking ill of their baby girl.
Taylor: I'm going through serious True Blood withdrawals. Got anything to hold me over until summer?
Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) might be getting a new love interest who has an advantage over Jason (Ryan Kwanten) and Hoyt (Jim Parrack): he's British and very attractive. Plus, his name is Claude. Try competing with that.
Is there still hope for Sookie and Eric on True Blood? — Alexis
NATALIE: Considering that Sookie swore off both Bill and Eric in the season finale, it'll be a while before we see any movement on that front. "The feelings are still there for both Eric and Bill," Alexander Skarsgard tells us. "The attraction is still there, but they're preoccupied, and so is she." Instead, look for Bill and Eric to team up while the vampire world begins to both expand and collapse in the coming season. "The guys have usually tried to kill each other and now suddenly have to learn to become friends and protect each other and work together."
nathalia004: Anything more on True Blood?
Fact: We love us a good flashback, but we love 'em even more when they answer questions that we've been pondering for years. In episode four we're finally going to learn what happened to Terry (Todd Lowe) back in '03 when he was serving in Iraq—and believe us when we say it's going to be intense.
Got anything on True Blood? — Simon
NATALIE: Now that Terry's old army buddy (Scott Foley) is in town, we'll finally discover what happened in Iraq that caused the Merlotte's chef to come back with such a severe case of PTSD. In a flashback to 2003, we'll see his squad head out for a night of partying and mischief that goes tragically awry.

Filming has resumed on the next season of True Blood, and while we've heard plenty about new additions to the cast like Christopher Meloni, what of Denis O'Hare's villainous vampire Russell Edgington, who appeared to have escaped his concrete prison in the last episode? "I don't know what they have planned for me, but I'll probably be in most of the season, starting about midway," O'Hare told us last night at Second Stage Theater's All-Star Bowling Classic. But don't expect any spoilers on how Edgington got away: "If I told you that, they'd bury me again. All I can say is that he's got friends in unlikely places." Edgington brought his own bowling ball and bowling shoes to the event, but when it came to this week's other big game — the Super Bowl — he was less enthused. "I don't hate football, I just don't care. I'd rather be at the opera," the out actor told us. "It's not about [being] gay or straight, it's a lot of hype. It's a lot of money, money that could be spent better somewhere else. I think we as a culture could do something better with our attention than worry about a bunch of men in tights running around hitting each other." Although when you put it that way, Denis ...
Eileen in Brooklyn: Anything you can tease about True Blood, like who is Sookie going to choose, Bill or Eric?
How about…neither? "We call it season of the bromance," sexy star Alexander Skarsgård told us at a presser for his new movie Battleship. "We just started [filming] and we're on episode four of season five. I have a lot with Steve [Stephen Moyer] this year," he said, quipping, "Eric is very intrigued by Bill now." Honestly, we're Team Eric no matter whom he hooks up with (especially if he's nekkid)! TV's Top Couple round two, y'all?
Gail in Canton, Ohio: Love all the True Blood spoilers you've been giving us! Any more?
Vampires will have something else to fear besides werewolves, the sun and silver in the upcoming season of True Blood. This new dude is way, way worse. He's…a redneck. And an anti-vampire one at that. This hunter will be a recurring character on T.B.'s new season, so he'll likely be raising all kinds of hell, like killing vamps and taking others prisoner. Want to hear the best part? His name is…wait for it…Joe Bob. You're welcome.
He may just be the creepiest member of True Blood’s Vampire Authority -- because he looks harmless, but is quite the opposite.
The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Jacob Hopkins has landed the recurring role as the final member of True Blood’s highest vampire governing body, the Vampire Authority.
Hopkins plays Alexander Drew, one of the Authority's chancellors who was turned to darkness at the age of 9-years-old. Alexander is described as an impetuous vamp who likes to taunt those around him.
He joins SVU star Cristopher Meloni, Spartacus actor Peter Mensah, and General Hospital and Cougar Town actress Carolyn Hennesy on the Authority.
